About Hex Bolts & Hex Cap Screws
Many in the fastener industry use the term “Hex Bolt” and “Hex Cap Screw” interchangeably but technically there is a difference between the two. Hex Bolts are manufactured to lower tolerances than Hex Cap Screws & can therefore be used in situations where dimensional tolerances are not as important, for instance the construction industry.
